

Mark Ault, MD is Director of the Division of General Internal Medicine and Assistant Chairman for Clinical Affairs of the Department of Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Ault is also active in the Procedure Center, performing a variety of interventional internal medicine procedures, and he is an attending physician in the Emergency Department.
An accomplished teacher, Dr. Ault is Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He has been an instructor in several courses at UCLA and served as a research mentor to house officers in the internal medicine residency program at Cedars-Sinai.
A member of numerous professional societies and a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, Dr. Ault is board certified in internal medicine, emergency medicine and critical care medicine. He has served as contributor to the American Board of Internal Medicine certification examination in internal medicine and editor of its critical care examination.
Dr. Ault is the author or co-author of numerous articles in peer-reviewed publications, including Chest, Journal of Clinical Outcomes Management, Journal of General Internal Medicine, Journal of Intensive Care Medicine and the Western Journal of Medicine.
Dr. Ault received his bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California and his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. Dr. Ault completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Cedars-Sinai, as well as fellowships in general internal medicine and critical care medicine.
