
Christine S. Walsh, MD is a gynecologic oncologist and research scientist with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Walsh is also an Assistant Professor with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center (UCLA).
Dr. Walsh's primary clinical and research interests include the molecular and genetic determinants of endometrial and ovarian cancer behavior. She has received the Lee Kaplan Cancer Foundation Ovarian Cancer Research Grant Award, the Berlex Scholar Award in Basic Science Research, and the Pacific Ovarian Cancer Research Consortium Career Development Program Award to support her research efforts
Dr. Walsh is a Diplomat of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists, American Association for Cancer Research and American Society of Clinical Oncology. Her studies have been published in peer-reviewed journals, including the Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology.
Dr. Walsh received her bachelor's degree from Stanford University and her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, a gynecologic oncology fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA} and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Walsh received a master of science degree in clinical research from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
